Learn to sail the RYA way!
The RYA Level 1 sailing course serves as an introduction to the world of sailing. It is suitable for beginners with little to no prior experience.
During this course, participants will learn the basics of boat handling, including rigging, launching, and recovery. They will also gain an understanding of essential sailing terminology, wind awareness, and basic sailing techniques.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to sail a dinghy in light winds under supervision.

What's included
We provide wetsuits, sailing cags and buoyancy aids.
What to bring
- Bring a water bottle.
- Suitable footwear- old trainers, wetsuits boots/shoes (no flipflops or crocs)
- Wetsuit and buoyancy aid if you have, or we can provide.
- Windproof jacket and trousers.
- Warm base layers to change into.

- 14 years plus
- Must be able to swim.
